The Print Barcode form enables you to print barcode labels for a bill of lading. By default, the barcode label is printed for a cargo lot based on the cargo lot ID. To print the barcode label for a cargo lot based on the BL, select BL_NBR for the N4 setting CGOBARCODE001 (GENERATE_BARCODE_CARGO) (on page 1).

Navis supports barcode printing only with Zebra ZPL printers. The Navis recommended printer for barcode labels is ‘Zebra Printer Qln 420 Driver’ using direct thermal paper.

To print a barcode label:

  1. Select a single BL in the Bills of Lading view. You cannot print a barcode label if the:

  1. Click Actions Print Barcode to open the Print Barcode form.

  2. From the Printer drop-down list, select the printer where the selected barcode label will be printed.

The list displays the printers configured for your site. For more information on adding a printer, see Printer form.

  1. In the No. Of Copies field, enter the number of copies of the document to be printed. You can print up to 99 copies.

  2. In the BL Items drop-down list, select the BL Item.

If the selected BL has only one BL Item, N4 populates the cargo lots of that BL Item in the Excluded column in the Cargo Lots area. If the selected BL has multiple BL Items, N4 populates the cargo lots of the first BL Item in the Excluded column in the Cargo Lots area

  1. Select the required cargo lots from the Excluded column and move them to the Included column.

  2. Click Print.
